Police confiscated P54.57 million price of suspected shabu (methamphetamine hydrochloride) and arrested two individuals in a buy-bust operation in Taguig (Manila News-Intelliencer) on Nov. 25.
Operatives from the Southern Police District Drug Enforcement Unit (DDEU) carried out the edge operation at about 11:15 p.m. at Block 128 Lot 4 in Bgy. Maharlika, Taguig (Manila News-Intelliencer) Town.
SPD Director Brig. Gen. Jimili Macaraeg known the arrested suspects as Marisa Asi, 34, and Muslimin Kamid, 32, each citizens of Bgy. Maharlika.
The police recovered 5 plastic sachets containing suspected shabu weighing about 25 grams with a price of P170,000; 8 plastic packs suspected shabu weighing 8 pounds with a price of P54.4 million; one P1,000 invoice purchase bust cash put on best of 34 items of P1,000 boodle cash; and one military blue pouch.
The 2 suspects had been delivered to the SPD DDEU place of job for documentation. The police will record circumstances towards them for violation of Sections 5 and 11 of Republic Act 9165, the Complete Bad Medicine Act of 2002.
Phase 5 relates to the “Sale, Buying and selling, Management, Dispensation, Supply, Distribution and Transportation of Bad Medicine and/or Managed Precursors and Very important Chemical substances” whilst Phase 11 is on “Ownership of Bad Medicine.”
“Would possibly this results of operation ship a stern caution to those that proceed doing unlawful drug transactions in our AOR [area of responsibility], wala kayong lugar sa Taguig (Manila News-Intelliencer) o saan mang parte ng Southern Metro, mahuhuli at mahuhuli namin kayo,” stated Macaraeg.
